The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Vahe Enfiajyan being in Moscow on a working visit met with the Deputy Speaker of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Pyotr Tolstoy.

During the meeting the RA NA Deputy Speaker conveyed to his Russian colleague Pyotr Tolstoy the invitation of the Chairman of the RA NA Prosperous Armenia Faction and Party Gagik Tsarukyan to visit to our country, as well as presented the works of the quarter of the residential houses being built in the city of Abovyan and the Russian biased school.

The Deputy Speaker of the State Duma thanked his colleague and gladly accepted the invitation to visit Armenia.

Within the framework of the visit of the Deputy Speaker of the State Duma being expected in our country a meeting-discussion is designed, having on the agenda items on the Armenian-Russian relations and a number of important items on the inter-parliamentary diplomacy.

In his word Vahe Enfiajyan distinguished the necessity of the parliamentary diplomacy in further strengthening the relations and the implementation of the multi-vector initiatives.

The RA NA Deputy Speaker assured that within the frameworks of his authorities he would not spare efforts for activating the effective cooperation in bilateral relations.

In his turn Pyotr Tolstoy highlighted the fact that Armenia is the strategic partner of the Russian Federation, underlining that it is necessary to further develop the bilateral relations in all possible directions.

The sides emphasized the necessity of the continuity of the friendly peoples’ centuries-old traditions.
