On March 21, the Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport Mkhitar Hayrapetyan met with the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Yerevan Mkhitar Heratsi State Medical University, Composer and Singer Vahan Artsruni.
The composer has talked about the problems of free creators and artists, and expressed concern about the tax administration, noting that it impedes the regular implementation of their work. In this context Vahan Artsruni underlined the necessity of the relevant legislative regulations. He also touched upon the importance of the cover of the events via mass media, in this issue considering important the support of the state.
The interlocutors also discussed issues concerning the events dedicated to the 150th birth anniversary of Komitas, as well as other issues of bilateral interest.
