On March 20, the member of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport, the deputy of the Faction of the NA Bright Armenia Harutyun Babayan met with a group of figures of culture.

The problems concerning the culture and the possibilities of their solution were discussed. The sculptors Sargis Babayan and Ashot Gevorgyan, actors Hayk Sargsyan and Naira Movsesyan, stage director Vahan Khachatryan, poet Edward Harents presented the problems existing in the creative sphere.

The artists distinguished the foreign policy problem in the culture, underscoring that it should be prior for the national state with rich culture.

The attendees exchanged ideas on the issues concerning the state-culture relations, the cultural state policy, the book printing, the translation work, the healthy competition, the aesthetic upbringing of the society and the educational programmes.

Summing up the discussion, Harutyun Babayan has noted that such meetings will be continuous.
