On March 19, the RA NA Vice President Lena Nazaryan met the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Armenia George Saganelidze.
Lena Nazaryan highlighted the two peoples' friendship, considering necessary the further development and expansion of the Armenian-Georgian relations in all directions. In that context the NA Vice President distinguished the activation of the ties between the parliaments of Armenia and Georgia at the level of not only Parliamentary Friendship Groups, but also Committees.
The Ambassador has underlined that Georgia highlights the expansion of cooperation in the relations with Armenia in all directions, including also on the parliamentary diplomacy platform. He also once again expressed his satisfaction and thankfulness to the NA Vice President for the warm reception the delegation led by the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili. George Saganelidze expressed conviction that the reached agreements would promote the further deepening and strengthening of the Armenian-Georgian friendly relations.
A number of agenda items of bilateral interest, among them the schedule of the meetings to be designed in the near future were also discussed.
