Parliament Ends Work of Extraordinary Sitting

On March 14, the RA National Assembly continued the work of the extraordinary sitting convened on the initiative of the RA Government and debated the two agenda draft laws.

The RA Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Hakob Arshakyan presented for debate the draft law on Amending the RA Law on Banning the Import of the Transport Means with Right Hand Drive, noting that on the previous day as a result of the extraordinary debate held in the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs the draft had been improved.

The MPs Gevorg Papoyan and Sergey Bagratyan expressed their viewpoints on the bill, considering necessary to touch upon items of importing cars to Armenia and technical examination.

Afterwards the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Suren Krmoyan presented for debate in the second reading the draft law on Amending the RA Law on Public Service. The speaker noted that the draft law was not amended, as before the debate in the first reading in the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs it was additionally elaborated.

As a result of voting the draft laws were passed in the second reading completely.

Covering the agenda the parliament ended the work of the extraordinary sitting.
