Lena Nazaryan Hosts Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan

On March 12, the RA NA Vice President Lena Nazaryan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Armenia Timur Urazayev.

Highly assessing the Armenian-Kazakh existing relations, the NA Vice President highlighted the further development of the inter-parliamentary relations and the role of the Friendship Groups in that issue. Lena Nazaryan talked about the work of Armenia and Kazakhstan in the Inter-Parliamentary Assemblies and emphasized the partner cooperation.

The NA Deputy Speaker expressed her gratitude to the Kazakh side for implementing the observation mission in our country in the extraordinary parliamentary elections.

The Deputy Head of the parliament has expressed conviction that the RA National Assembly is ready for the close cooperation with the Embassy of Kazakhstan and the implementation of the new initiatives.

Timur Urazayev also touched upon the problems of the bilateral cooperation agenda and the cooperation in different integration directions. To the Ambassador’s assessment, the CSTO and the EEU should remain faithful to their adopted principles.

The Ambassador emphasized the positive progress existing in the economic relations, which could be used for the benefit of the two countries.

The interlocutors also exchanged thoughts about the problems and activities of the Armenian community and the provision of the favourable investment environment.

Timur Urazayev has noted that numerous Kazakh businessmen are interested in the implementation of the investments after the last changes occurred in Armenia. In that context Lena Nazaryan has assured that favourable conditions are created now in our country for the foreign investors.
