Alen Simonyan Receives Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Armenia

On March 12, the RA NA Vice President Alen Simonyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Armenia Timur Urazayev.

The interlocutors highlighted the further development of the relations between the two countries and the deepening of the inter-parliamentary ties. The NA Deputy Speaker informed that soon Armenia-Kazakhstan Friendship Group would be formed, and it would have active role in the expansion of the mutual ties. The NA Vice President touched upon the coordinated work of the delegations in the inter-parliamentary structures, in this issue highlighted the supporting to each other in the problems of bilateral interest.

The NK problem settlement was also referred to. Considering inadmissible the appeals impeding the establishment of peace and the bellicose rhetoric by our neighbouring state, Alen Simonyan underlined that there could not be any alternative to the peaceful settlement of the conflict. The Ambassador in his turn emphasized the peaceful settlement of the conflicts.

Timur Urazayev talked about the perspectives of cooperation with Armenia within the framework of the EEU and the CSTO and presented the priorities of his country in two integration directions.

In the course of the meeting both sides related to the issues concerning the bilateral ties in a number of spheres.
