On March 6, the RA NA Vice President Lena Nazaryan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin.

Welcoming the Ambassador in the parliament Lena Nazaryan highlighted the development of the Armenian-Russian friendly and alliance relations, talked about the deepening of cooperation on the inter-parliamentary platforms, particularly in the CIS IPA and the CSTO PA.

The interlocutors underlined the necessity of the implementation of debates on the cooperation rapprochement, the enlivening of contacts and issues of bilateral interest between the namesake parliamentary Committees of the two countries.

The NA Vice President was interested in the events and programmes under implementation being organized by the Embassy, and in response to it Sergey Kopirkin told her about the various events to be implemented in the near future.
