On the occasion of the political processes occurred in Armenia, particularly the parliamentary extraordinary elections of December 9 of the previous year Peter Osusky, who led the OSCE PA Observation Mission in those days delivered a speech and stressed that the elections were held in consonance with the fundamental human rights and freedoms and democracy principles, the electoral malpractices and defective phenomena happened before had not been. “This is Armenian people's victory,” he stressed, adding that in the last 20 years it had been the most impressive election and he has witnessed an Armenian miracle.

At the Committee on Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs Ani Samsonyan talked about the problems of freedom of press. She has noted that the media in general is free in Armenia, but there are challenges connected with spreading non-specified news and disinformation. The MP expressed fear that the fight against them could harm the work of the fourth power, the mass media.

The representative on this issue in the OSCE PA also considered it as a global problem and an agreement was reached to find ways of solution together.

Hamazasp Danielyan, who worked in the Committee on Science, Economy and Environment, also touched upon his and delegation members' activities. There the special theme of the debate was the fight against corruption, and the Armenian delegate also delivered a speech relating to this. With regards to one more debate Hamazasp Danielyan noted the viewpoint voiced by the French delegate, where he emphasized the participation of the representatives of Artsakh Republic in the debates on the conflict regulation.

The members of the delegation, in general, positively assessed their first visit and highlighted the further work in the organization for the benefit of our country.
