RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs and Protection of Human Rights Convenes Sitting

On November 28, the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs and Protection of Human Rights was held moderated by Gevorg Kostanyan.

The draft law authored by the RA NA deputy Rustam Makhmudyan on Amending the RA Constitutional Law the NA Rules of Procedure was debated in the first reading.

The RA First Deputy Minister of Justice Artur Hovhannisyan has informed that the executive body proposes the author to present a package, designing amendments to Judicial Code.

The Committee endorsed the item for the revising it.

The draft law on Making Amendment and Addenda to the RA Constitutional Law the RA Judicial Code was also debated in the first reading.

The RA Acting Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalyan presented the recommendations and observations.

The Committee Chair Gevorg Kostanyan is against the draft law in the institutional context.

The debate of the draft law was postponed.

The debates of the draft laws were postponed up to two months.

The legislative initiative authored by the RA NA deputies Mihran Poghosyan and Rustam Makhmudyan on Making Amendment and Addendum to the RA Code on Administrative Infringements was removed from the circulation.
