On November 5, the regular sitting of the Investigative Committee Created to Study the Gas and Electric Power Supply and Activities of Distribution Systems, the Substantiation of Gas and Electric Power Functioning Tariffs was held.
The General Director of the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) Company Karen Harutyunyan presented the tariff policy.
The ENA General Director, the RA Acting Minister of Energy Sub-Structures and Natural Resources Garegin Baghramyan, the RA Deputy Chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission Mikayel Soghomonyan answered the MPs' questions, which particularly related to the change of the functioning tariff methodology, the sizes of the persons occupying the leading position in the ENA, the reduction of the losses, the level of the profitability, the upgrading of Yerevan HPP, the steps taken by the state for the bankrupt enterprises and the unreliable debts of the population.
