On October 30, the delegation led by the RA NA Speaker Ara Babloyan took part in the works of the 11^th Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO PA) Session in Moscow.

During the Session on the initiative of the CSTO PA Permanent Commission on Defense and Security a number of model draft models put into circulation, assignments and other legal acts, particularly the drafts regarding the provision of the national security, information fight against terrorism and extremism, maintenance of the territories of special importance, the upgrading and harmonization of the CSTO member states’ legislation. In the sphere of operative-intelligence activity the draft model agreement on cooperation of the member states was also discussed.

In his speech Ara Babloyan has underlined that irrespective of the inner-political situation the cooperation will continue in the CSTO framework: that is the Armenian people’s will and the stable position of the Republic of Armenia. The Head of the RA Parliament expressed hope that the newly elected National Assembly would support his invitation to hold the CSTO PA Council and Assembly next Plenary Sessions in Armenia.

The RA NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov, the RA NA deputies Khosrov Harutyunyan and Koryun Nahapetyan are in the delegation led by the Head of the Parliament.
