Under Part 1 of the Article 20 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Armenia Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly , by the demand of at least one quarter of the general number of deputies the activity of the RA gas and electric power supply and distribution systems, making a matter of examination the substantiation of functioning tariffs of gas and electric power and presenting their results to the National Assembly an Investigative Committee of the National Assembly was created by the force of law.

Under Part 6 of the Article 20 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Armenia Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, the draft decision of the National Assembly establishing the number of the Investigative Committee members will be debated in the regular sittings of the National Assembly to be convened on October 2,” the statement of the RA NA Speaker Ara Babloyan reads.
