“Dear compatriots,
I congratulate all of us on the 27th anniversary of the declaration of the Independence of the Artsakh Republic and I bow before all those bright memory, who fell on defending the independence of the second state.
The people of Artsakh made their unbreakable decision during a military and political hard and indefinite period, when perhaps the only certain and distinct reality was the intensification of the danger threatening the native land. The history proved that the declaration of the independence was the only path for the Artsakh Armenians' protection of the right to live in their historical Motherland. And the Artsakh Armenians proved that they can win, heal the wounds of the war, create and prosper its highlands. And moreover, resolutely overcoming all difficulties they can build a democratic social order which is the most important pledge of the development of the state and society.
September 2 is the holiday of all Armenians which we have conquered as a result of all-national struggle, and Armenia will continue to support in any way the further strengthening of the independence of the Artsakh Republic.
On behalf of the parliament of the Republic of Armenia and me I once again congratulate the whole people of Artsakh on the occasion of this special holiday. I also address my words of congratulation and appreciation to all those who have contributed to the defense and development of the Artsakh Republic.
Dear Artsakh people, I wish you new successes in the state building, continuous improvement of the legislative field, strengthening of democracy and development of economy.
