On August 28, the meeting of the Speaker of the RA National Assembly Ara Babloyan and the RA Armen Sargsyan took place. The Speaker of the National Assembly made a proposal of the initiative for the meeting with the statement on inner-political situation of the country.

The Head of the Parliament informed that at the meeting held the day before with the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan the parties stated that all steps taken for the solution of the problems should be in accordance with the democratic standards, in the atmosphere of political dialogue, negotiations and discussions.

Highlighting the dictate of the rule of the Constitution, the President of the Republic has reaffirmed his position that the problems are solved at best through dialogue and negotiations, during which the parties honour the reached agreements, consistently fulfilling actions aimed at those agreements, learning lessons and recording successes.
