Parliamentary Working Group for RA Electoral Legislation Reforms Debates Recommendations of Representatives of Extra-Parliamentary Political Forces and Civil Society

On July 27, the Parliamentary Working Group created for the RA Electoral Legislation Reforms convened the regular sitting which moderated the representative of the RA NA RPA Faction Davit Harutyunyan.

The Working Group debated several recommendations of the Extra-Parliamentary Political Forces and the Civil Society, summed the viewpoints of the RA NA Factions on the recommendations debated on the previous sittings.

The representatives of the RA NA Yelq/Way Out and the ARF Factions Lena Nazaryan and Spartak Seyranyan considered admissible the recommendations by the Member of the RA NA RPA Factions Khosrov Harutyunyan.

One of th recommendations presented by the Extra-Parliamentary Political Forces and the Civil Society related to the provision of the women's due presentation in the parliament, and viewpoints of the RA NA Factions mainly coincided.

The Working Group accepted a little changed also the recommendation of the Heritage Party.

The next sitting of the Working Group will be held on July 31 if necessary. And meanwhile the RA NA Factions will sum up the recommendations acceptable by them and present them to the Committee on Electoral Legislation Reforms adjunct to the RA Prime Minister.
