On June 5, the RA NA President Ara Babloyan met with the Vice President of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, President of Senate Lucia Topolansky in Moscow.

The President of the RA National Assembly has noted that the relations between the two countries are based on the lasting friendship and mutual support, adding that we should combine all our efforts for expanding the frameworks of cooperation. In this context the Head of the RA Parliament highlighted the active involvement of the Parliamentary Friendship Groups, as well as the mutual visits in different formats for the development of inter-parliamentary relations.

The sides also touched upon the close cooperation on the international platforms and the regional problems.
