On 25-28, in Warsaw the Spring Session of NATO Parliamentary Assembly was held, where the Head of the RA NA Delegation to NATO PA, the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security Koryun Nahapetyan and the member of the Delegation Suren Manukyan took part.

Items concerning the special action forces in the security modern environment, the democracy in the Black Sea Region and the boosting of the protection of human rights, Afghanistan, the security of the Western Balkans, the expenditures being made in the Alliance and other items were included in the agenda of the session.

The members of the RA Delegation addressed questions to the speakers on the drafts; in response to the question of the Assembly participant, they clarified the directions of the RA foreign policy.

In the Plenary Session Koryun Nahapetyan addressed a question to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on NATO experience of supporting the civil and military crisis management being led by the European Union.
