On March 24, the delegation of the RF Federal Assembly State Duma Committee for CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots accompanied by the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Armen Ashotyan visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex.
On behalf of the RF FA State Duma the members of the delegation laid a wreath at the monument of 1915 Armenian Genocide victims, flowers at the eternal fire and honoured in silence the memory of the Holy Martyrs.
The guests had been at the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, observed the exhibits, got acquainted with the documents proving the Armenian Genocide and left a note in the Book of Honourable Guests.
The Deputy Chair of the Committee for CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots Viktor Vodolatski has noted that all of us coming out of the museum take the thought that all the peoples of the world shall live in peace and solidarity.
“The memory of the Armenian Genocide victims prompts one thing: the Genocide should never be repeated,” Viktor Vodolatski said.
