On March 23, on the initiative of the RA Government the RA National Assembly convened an extraordinary sitting by the initiator's established agenda. The bills were debated in the second reading and completely.

After approving the agenda the RA First Deputy Minister of Justice Artur Hovhannisyan presented for debate the RA draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA law on State Awards and Honourable Titles , the revised draft law of the law on Referendum and the revised draft law of the law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA law on Television and Radio.

The MP Rustam Makhmudyan presented the endorsement of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs and Protection of Human Rights.

The deputies Edmon Marukyan, Artak Zeynalyan delivered speeches on the draft laws under debate.

The MP Arman Saghatelyan presented the endorsement of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport.

The RA Deputy Head of Police Vardan Yeghiazaryan presented the bill on Amending the RA Law on Foreigners with the enclosed draft law. The Chairman of the RA State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition Artak Shaboyan presented the draft law on Making Addenda and Amendments to the RA Law on the Protection of Economic Competition with the enclosed legislative package.

The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Khosrov Harutyunyan presented the endorsement of the Committee.

The NA deputies Aram Sargsyan, Edmon Marukyan, Aghvan Vardanyan, Artak Zeynalyan, the RA NA Deputy Speaker Mikayel Melkumyan expressed their viewpoints.

The RA Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan presented for the deputies’ assessment the draft law on Amending the RA Law on Diplomatic Service.

The NA deputies Armen Ashotyan, Khosrov Harutyunyan expressed their viewpoints.

The RA Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan also presented the RA Law on International Treaties with the enclosed package.

The RA Minister of Justice Davit Harutyunyan presented for debate the draft laws on Amending the RA Criminal Procedure Code and on Making Amendments and Addendum to the RA Administrative Code, the RA Law on the Structure and Activity of the RA Government with the enclosed legislative package.

The Chair of the RA NA State and Legal Affairs and Protection of Human Rights Gevorg Kostanyan, the RA NA deputies Edmon Marukyan, Arman Saghatelyan, the RA NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov expressed their opinions on the draft laws.

In their final speeches Gevorg Kostanyan and Davit Harutyunyan touched upon the voiced interpellations and concerns.

The RA Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of International Economic Integration and Reforms Vache Gabrielyan presented the RA law on Civil Service with the enclosed package.

The parliament passed in the second reading and completely the laws and the legislative packages presented by the government.

Covering the agenda, the National Assembly ended the work of the extraordinary sitting.
