Alen Simonyan Answers to the Russian Media Representatives

On November 20, the RA NA Vice President met with a number of Russian leading mass media representatives being in Armenia.

The meeting went on in Q & A format.

The Russian mass media representatives were interested in the Armenian-Russian relations, the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the reforms being implemented after the Velvet Revolution in Armenia, including the investments, etc.

Regarding the issues of cooperation with the strategic ally Russia, the Vice President of the parliament has underlined that the inter-state relations between the two countries at high political level, and in this context has stressed the importance of the Armenian-Russian parliamentary cooperation. Alen Simonyan has also noted that Armenia and Russia are strategic allies, and they successfully cooperate in parliamentary different formats.

Answering to the problem on Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, the Vice President of the National Assembly has underlined that the issue should be settled exclusively by peaceful means and has noted his position on this issue is the same as Armenia’s official position.

Alen Simonyan also touched upon the policy aimed at the improvement of the investment environment adopted by the power.
