Within the framework of the Fourth Meeting of Speakers of the Eurasian Countries' Parliaments (MSEAP) the Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan met with the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (PA) George Tsereteli.

George Tsereteli highly assessed the active participation of the delegation of the National Assembly in the works of the OSCE PA.

The RA NA Speaker proposed his interlocutor to discuss the opportunity of holding the OSCE PA various events, which would be directed to the strengthening of the parliament capabilities and the parliamentary oversight mechanisms, the fight against corruption, the law-making activity and the investment of effective mechanisms for providing participation of the civil society.

Reaffirming his invitation of George Tsereteli to visit Yerevan, Ararat Mirzoyan has expressed hope that it will serve as a wonderful occasion to discuss issues not only of bilateral, but also of regional importance.
