On December 19, under Article 100 of the RA Constitution and Article 41 of the RA Constitutional Law NA Rules of Procedure, at the initiative of the RA Government, on was convened by the initiator’s established agenda.

Four sittings will be held every day of the extraordinary sitting will be held with one and a half hour duration.
According to the decision adopted by the RA NA, at the NA extraordinary sitting eight legal acts will be debated in a special procedure: the debate of them in the second reading after the first reading will be held in 24 hours, allocating three hours to the debate of each of them.
The RA First Deputy Minister of Justice Artur Hovhannisyan presented the draft law on Amending the RA Criminal Procedure Code and the package of enclosed bills in the first reading.
The Deputy Chair of the RA NA State and Legal Affairs and Protection of Human Rights Rustam Makhmudyan presented the endorsement of the Committee and called on the deputies to vote for the package of bills.
