Parliament Continues Debates of Draft State Budget in RA NA Standing Committees

On November 1, at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on State and Legal Affairs and Protection of Human Rights and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Hrayr Tovmasyan and Gagik Minasyan the RA draft law on the RA State Budget for 2018 was debated. The RA NA deputies, the RA Ministers and those responsible for the sphere took part in the debate.

At the joint sitting the incomes and expenditures to be allocated to the power state and judicial bodies, to the staff of the Human Rights Defender designed by the RA draft law on the RA State Budget for 2018 were debated.

The RA Minister of Finance presented the sums of the money to be allocated for the RA Special Investigation Service, the RA Civil Service Council, the RA Central Electoral Commission and the staff of the RA Human Rights Defender.

Afterwards Atom Janjughazyan in detail answered the RA NA deputies’ questions.

The Chief of the RA President’s Staff Armen Gevorgyan, the Chief of Staff, Secretary General Ara Saghatelyan, the Chief of Staff of the RA Government Vahe Stepanyan presented the incomes and expenditures allocated to the relevant state bodies.

Afterwards those responsible for different spheres: the Chief of Staff of the RA Constitutional Court Arushan Hakobyan, the RA Minister of Justice Davit Harutyunyan, the Head of the Staff of the RA Prosecutor's Office Hamayak Navasardyan, the Head of the RA Department of the Investigative Committee Ashot Zalinyan, the Deputy Head of the RA Special Investigation Service Vladimir Hovhannisyan, the Deputy Chairman of the RA Control Chamber Ara Nranyan, the Head of the RA Judicial Department Karen Poladyan, the Chairman of the RA Civil Service Council Manvel Badalyan, the Chairman of the RA Central Electoral Commission Tigran Mukuchyan and the RA Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan touched upon the allocations of the state budget in their spheres and the programmes to be implemented next year.

Those responsible for the spheres answered the deputies' questions and listened to their recommendations.

The debate of the draft state budget for 2018 will continue at November 2 joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees.
