Today is the 18^th anniversary of the crime committed on 27 October 1999.

The RA NA President Ara Babloyan, the RA NA Vice Presidents Eduard Sharmazanov, Arpine Hovhannisyan and Mikayel Melkumyan, the RA NA deputies, relatives of the victims, the RA NA Staff members and journalist laid wreaths and flowers at the monument eternalizing the memory of the state and political figures Karen Demirchyan, Vazgen Sargsyan, Yuri Bakhshyan, Ruben Miroyan, Mikayel Kotanyan, Armenak Armenakyan, Henrik Abrahamyan and Leonard Petrosyan, who fell victims of crime committed on 27 October 1999and in one-minute silence honoured their memory.

On the same day the members of the YVU led by the Deputy Chairman Ghukas Ulikhanyan laid flowers at the monument eternalizing the memory of 27 October 1999 being in the park of the RA National Assembly.
