On September 19 the Head of the Armenia-Poland Friendship Group Hovhannes Sahakyan and the members of the group met with the Head of the Poland-Armenia Friendship Group Lukasz Abgarowicz.

In the course of the meeting the expansion of inter-parliamentary relations and the necessity of organizing mutual visits as an important precondition for strengthening mutual visits and developing mutually beneficial cooperation were highlighted. The sides expressed conviction that we should maintain and intensify the tempo of contacts between the parliamentary friendship groups of the two countries.

The members of the Friendship Group highly assessed Mr Abgarowicz’s visit to the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, emphasizing the recognition of Artsakh and presentaion of objective information in Poland through such visits.

During the meeting the sides also touched upon other issues of mutual interest.
