On May 14 the parliament continued the work of the extraordinary sitting.

The deputies in the first reading passed the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Trade and Services."

Then the parliament continued debating the package of bills “On Amending the RA Law on Accounting” and “On Amending the Customs Code of the Republic of Armenia.”

The deputies Hrant Bagratyan, Naira Zohrabyan, Tevan Poghosyan and Mikayel Melkumyan, Artsvik Minasyan delivered speeches on the issue under debate.

In his final speech the key reporter Vakhtang Mirumyan has noted that the goal of the amendment is to evaluate and balance the adequacy of the financial loading on the guarantees of the transparency, which provides the audit.

The RA Deputy of the Justice Minister Grigor Muradyan in the first reading presented the bill “On Amending the RA Law on Alternative Service.”

The deputies in the first reading debated the bill “On Amending the RA Law on Energy,” which presented the RA Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Areg Galstyan.

In his final speech Areg Galstyan touched upon the deputies’ recommendations, expressing willingness to revise the bill and find admissible formulations.

The RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan in the second reading submitted for debate the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Accumulating Pensions,” noting that partial editorial amendments had been made.

Exchange of thoughts took place on the draft law, different interpellations and recommendations had been made.

In their final speeches the Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Social Affairs Hakob Hakobyan and the RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan touched upon the deputies’ speeches and gave clarifications.
