NA Deputy Speaker Meets with the Graduates of the Women’s Leadership School

On April 15 in the National Assembly the NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan met with the graduates of the Women’s Leadership School within the framework of the program “Capacity Building of Women’s Effective Participation in the Local Self-Government System in Armenia.”

Mrs Naghdalyan highlighted the women’s role in the local self-government bodies and in all levels of state administration. Noting that the Elders’ role is very big in the establishment and development of the communities Mrs Naghdalyan emphasized the women’s role and participation.

Jemma Hasratyan, the Head of the Armenian Association of Women with University Education, has documented that the Women’s Leadership School gives political, legal and economic knowledge, which will help to implement public activities and to be nominated in the elections of the local self-government. At the end of the meeting the NA Deputy Speaker and the Head of the Armenian Association of Women with University Education handed graduation certificates of the Armenian Association of Women with University Education to the graduates.
