On November 14 the National Assembly hosted the pupils of Voske Nur (Golden Pomegranate) High Art School within the framework of Open Lesson programme. The children belonged to different age groups, and some of them were the smallest guests of the National Assembly.
The Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Artak Davtyan met with the pupils of the Art School. Welcoming the pupils in the National Assembly he presented the structure of the parliament, told them about the work of the NA Standing Committees and the deputies’ activity.
The pupils of Voske Nur High Art School asked Artak Davtyan to convey a letter of acknowledgment and a prize to the NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan with the symbol of the school. Mr Davtyan answered the questions concerning the children, which were relating to the preservation of the cultural monuments, education fees and the privileges given to the gifted children.
