On November 5, Vice President of the National Assembly Mrs. Arevik Petrosyan received the British 
Council Office Director in Armenia Ms. Arevik Saribekyan.
The sides discussed in detail concrete issues of cooperation on gender between the National Assembly and the British Council according to the agreement reached during the meeting on October 26 of this year of the President of RA National Assembly Mr. Hovik Abrahamyan and Regional Director of the Southeast British Council Mr. Michael Bird.
Mrs. Petrosyan proposed to affirm the agreements on cooperation by Memorandum of Understanding and indicate events for the experts’ support, training, exchange of experience, as well as concrete schedule for their implementation. The proposals were accepted by the Head of the British Council Office in Armenia.
