Nikol Pashinyan: Our Proposal Continues Remaining in Force, and Armenia is Ready to Begin the Reconstruction of Yeraskh-Ordubad-Meghri-Horadiz as Soon as Possible

During the NA-Government Q&A session the deputy Sargis Khandanyan inquired about the agreements reached at the regular sitting of the trilateral working group on unblocking of the regional transport and economic relations held yesterday.

The RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan responded to the question. It was noted that the issue of reopening of Yeraskh-Ordubad-Meghri-Horadiz was discussed. Nikol Pashinyan responded that, unfortunately, no concrete result was registered. “I would like to reaffirm that the Republic of Armenia is ready and concerned about the implementation of that programme, and our proposal continues remaining in force: the Republic of Armenia is ready the reconstruction of the railway as soon as possible,” the Prime Minister noted, adding that the railway and the roads should operate, when it’s on the paper, from that moment we are ready to begin the work,” Nikol Pashinyan said.
