The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Eduard Aghajanyan sent a letter to the OSCE PA President Margareta Cederfelt and the Special Representative for the OSCE PA South Caucasus Kari Henriksen. Eduard Aghajanyan described the actions of the last days, the creeping war unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh, the humanitarian crisis caused by the disruption of gas supply.

The Committee Chair drew the attention of the international parliamentary colleagues to the fact that while on the international arena Azerbaijan is positioning itself as a proponent of peace in the South Caucasus, it still keeps subjecting to psychological, humanitarian and military terror the people of the Nagorno Karabakh with the aim of completely evicting Armenians from Artsakh.

Eduard Aghajanyan underlined the importance for a quick response to the created situation by the international community and immediately restraining Azerbaijan. He reaffirmed Armenia’s readiness to resume the process of the peaceful, negotiated and final settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship.
