On October 29, the Head of the NA Armenia Faction Seyran Ohanyan, the Secretary Artsvik Minasyan and the member of the faction Aram Vardevanyan participated in the parliamentary briefings following the NA regular sittings.

Seyran Ohanyan noted that the opposition tried to invite the heads of the relevant department to parliament of the need to receive clarifications related to the concerning issues of the border situation long time. This week an urgent debate on the theme of public interest on the situation on the line of contact of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan and the demarcation problems was held in closed format. Seyran Ohanyan has stated that during the debate of such urgent issues, the presence of the first persons from the relevant departments is necessary, as the represented persons did not fully understand the situation and especially the strategic, military-political problems. He emphasized that within the framework of that issue, the statement of the National Assembly on the situation in the Republic of Armenia and the Artsakh Republic jointly proposed by the NA Armenia and With Honor Factions was not adopted.
