On April 29, the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport moderated by Mkhitar Hayrapetyan convened the regular sitting.

As the RA Deputy Minister of Finance Armen Hayrapetyan has presented, the draft law on Amending the Law on Advertising was debated in the second reading.

It is proposed to establish the hourly definition instead of the volume restriction of 20% website towards the lottery advertisement through news websites, designing the advertisements can be carried out during the period from 22:00 until 07:00.

The key rapporteur noted that after passing the draft law in the first reading amendments have not been made.

The NA deputy Artur Manukyan proposed to vote for the bill.

The NA deputy Anna Kostanyan noted that concerns were made by the mass media that the number of the participants for the lotteries increased.

The Deputy Minister of Finance has noted that the abovementioned concerns do not refer to these amendments.

The draft law was endorsed.
