At April 16 NA regular sitting, the package of the draft laws on Making Amendments and Addenda to the law on Organization of Funerals and Operation of Cemeteries and Crematoriums authored by the RA NA deputies Nikolay Baghdasaryan, Sergey Movsisyan, Viktor Yengibaryan was debated in the first reading.

The key rapporteur Nikolay Baghdasaryan noted that the basis for the revision of the bill had been the citizens’ discontents.

The member of the NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Narek Grigoryan presented the endorsement of the Committee.

The Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Vache Terteryan informed that the they had worked in detail on the bill and during that period a number of problems were disclosed which they would try to solve later.
