At Sitting of RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs

On April 9, the regular sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs, during which the draft law on Amending the RA Civil Code authored by the RA NA Bright Armenia Faction was debated.

According to the key speaker Taron Simonyan, it is proposed to make two amendments.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Vahe Danielyan presented the positive opinion of the Government related to the item.

The RA NA Bright Armenia Faction proposed to make another amendment in the same Code.

Vahe Danielyan gave negative conclusion of the Government to this draft law.

The draft law on Making Addendum to the RA Civil Code authored by the NA Bright Armenia Faction presented by the RA NA deputy Taron Simonyan was debated.

The draft laws were not endorsed by the Committee.

The bill on Amending the RA Criminal Procedure Code authored by the RA Government was debated presented by the RA Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Edvard Hovhannisyan.

The Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs endorsed the draft law.

The legislative package on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on Securities Market authored by the Government was debated in the first reading.

The key speaker, the RA First Deputy Minister of Justice Rafik Grigoryan presented the details on the legislative package.

The Committee endorsed the package of the draft laws.

The package of the draft laws on Amending the RA Law on Public Service authored by the RA NA Bright Armenia Faction, on Making Addendum to the law on Levying of the Property of Illegal Origin, on Making Addendum to the RA Criminal Code, as well as the draft laws on Making Addendum to the RA Criminal Procedure Code authored by the RA NA deputies Nikolay Baghdasaryan, Arusyak Julhakyan, on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Criminal Procedure Code authored by the RA NA deputies Nikolay Baghdasaryan, Nazeli Baghdasaryan and on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Criminal Procedure Code authored by the Government were debated in the second reading and endorsed.

The draft law on Making Addenda to the RA Law on Keeping the Arrested and the Detained Persons was debated in the second reading and was not endorsed.

Debates of a number of draft laws were postponed for two months.

Afterwards the draft decision of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs was debated and endorsed. It proposes to lay the control of the procedure of the law implementation on the Legal Regime of the State of Emergency.
