On September 5, the members of RA NA Armenia-Moldova Friendship Groups met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to Armenia Ruslan Bolbochan (residence in Kiev) and the Honorary Consul of Moldova to Armenia Makar Petrosyan.

Welcoming the guests, the Head of the RA NA Friendship Group Armen Pambukhchyan congratulated them on Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova and noted that though the diplomatic relations between the two countries had started since 1992, but in the future had not developed. According to the MP, new perspectives open for Armenia-Moldova cooperation.

At the meeting both sides touched upon the growth of bilateral goods turnover, expressed readiness for supporting the development of the economy and the mutually beneficial cooperation.

Ambassador Ruslan Bolbochan invited the parliamentarians to attend the opening ceremony of the Consulate of the Republic of Moldova to the RA.

The parties agreed to meet in the format of Friendship Groups.
