On August 29, a working debate on the draft law on Making Amendment and Addenda to the RA Criminal Code and the enclosed legislative package authored by the RA Ministry of Justice at the initiative of the RA NA deputy Sergey Atomyan was held.

The RA NA deputy Suren Grigoryan, as well as representatives of different institutions, the RA Investigative Committee, the RA Police and the RA Human Rights Defender Office took part in the discussion.

According to Sergey Atomyan, the goal of the discussion is to listen to the opinion of the representatives of the sphere on regulation of the problems existing in the Code.

As a result of debate, all the proposals have been acceptable by the representatives of the institutions of the sphere, and it has been noted that the MP’s proposed amendments are practically applicable.

The proposals by the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Anna Vardapetyan have been admissible.
