On May 22, the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport moderated by Mkhitar Hayrapetyan debated the RA draft law on Making Addendum to the Law on the RA National Academy of Sciences authored by Sergey Bagratyan.

The RA Deputy Minister of Education and Science Arevik Anapiosyan noted that the Government proposed to leave the article of the law in force unchanged, taking into consideration a number of functioning legal regulations and approaches.

According to the Deputy Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, there is no government that will let selling the building of the National Academy of Sciences.

The Committee debated the RA draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the law on Physical Training and Sport authored by the deputies of the RA NA My Step Faction Artak Manukyan and Arsen Julfalakyan. The MPs addressed questions to the authors, which related to the reformation of manager-pedagogue institute, the registration process of the federations, the rights of the athletes and managers and the prior kinds of sports.

The RA Acting Minister of Sport and Youth Gabriel Ghazaryan proposed to cooperate with the authoritative body of the sphere and present a new revised version in the possible short terms.

The co-author of the draft law the RA NA deputy Arsen Julfalakyan proposed to make revisions during the period from the first to the second reading.

The draft law with the endorsement was proposed to include in the draft law of the RA NA regular sittings’ agenda.
