RA NA Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan Meets with Chairman of RF Federal Assembly State Duma Viacheslav Volodin

The Speaker of the National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan being in Bishkek to take part in the visiting sitting of the CSTO PA Council had a meeting with the Chairman of the RF Federal Assembly State Duma Viacheslav Volodin.

Recording with satisfaction the fact of the meeting the sides emphasized the importance of the need of such formats: non-formal contacts between the heads of the two parliaments for giving necessary solutions to bilateral agenda items.

The Chairman of the RF Federal Assembly State Duma Viacheslav Volodin has stressed that being in the military-political alliance supposes special level of trust and the upcoming sitting of the CSTO PA Council will give an opportunity to thoroughly touch upon all agenda items.

Viacheslav Volodin also reaffirmed his invitation addressed to Ararat Mirzoyan for taking part in the international forum with the heading The Development of Parliamentarism to be organized in the RF FA State Duma on July 1-2, where the Speakers of the parliaments of different countries of the world would discuss issues of further development of parliamentarism.

The Speaker of the National Assembly again approved the readiness of Armenia to further develop the Armneian-Russian strategic partnership relations, to which unequivocally would promote the regular contacts of the parliaments’ heads.

Ararat Mirzoyan has noted that the RA National Assembly is ready to host the CSTO PA Council and the plenary sittings in Yerevan in autumn in 2019.

Afterwards both sides have touched upon the Armenian community residing in the RF, which greatly promotes the development of cooperation between the two countries. They documented that the responsibility before the two peoples should instigate the parliamentarians to further expand the necessary legislative bases for deepening the bilateral relations.
