Ruben Rubinyan: Armenia Builds Its Relations with Partner States Based on Principle of Mutuality

On February 22, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Ruben Rubinyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Armenia Johannes Douma.

During the meeting the sides highlighted the development of the two states’ parliamentary relations, in this context underlined the role of the Committee on Foreign Relations as a coordinating link of parliamentary diplomacy.

Touching upon the priorities of the RA foreign policy Ruben Rubinyan has noted that the Republic of Armenia builds its relations with partner states based on the principle of mutuality.

The interlocutors also discussed issues regarding the agenda priorities of the Committee, emphasized the realization of more active parliamentary diplomacy through activeness of contacts and deepening of cooperation between the two countries’ parliaments.

Issues concerning the ratification process of the RA-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement were also discussed: the Committee Chair expressed on quick ratification the Agreement.
