Budgetary Debates Continue in RA NA Standing Committees

On November 2, at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on Economic Affairs and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Khosrov Harutyunyan and Gagik Minasyan the debates of the RA State Budget for 2019 continued, where the RA NA deputies, representatives of the ministries and those responsible for the sphere took part.

The financial allocations designed for the spheres of industry, transport and communication, energy and natural resources, tariff policy, protection of economic competition, cadastre committee, urban development and water economy to the RA draft law on the RA State Budget for 2019 were debated for the coming year.

The RA Acting Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan presented the financial allocations designed for the abovementioned spheres, the revenues and expenditures of the state budget, and those responsible for the sphere, touched upon the programmes to be implemented in the institutions led by them, the pursuing policy and answered the MPs' questions.

Atom Janjughazyan also answered the deputies' questions, which related to the growth of the investments, the simplification of the tax procedures, the adequate development of the regions, the steps of the government directed to the decrease of the poverty threshold and the reduction of the shadow economy.

The heads of the relevant committees and ministries presented the details relating to the state budget.

On the same day at the joint sitting RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Armen Ashotyan and Gagik Minasyan the draft RA State Budget for 2019 was debated.

The RA Acting Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan presented the financial indices to be allocated to the spheres and thanked for organizing the activities.

The RA Acting Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and the RA Acting Minister of Diaspora Mkhitar Hayrapetyan presented the programmes and the prior directions by their ministries.

The deputies’ questions related to the foreign political processes, the NK conflict settlement, the logistic services and the implementation of a number of budgetary programmes.
