On March 15, the RA NA President Ara Babloyan awarded the former deputy of the RA Supreme Council Marzpetuni Margaryan the RA NA President's Memorial Medal on his 70th birth anniversary.
Congratulating Marzpetuni Margaryan on the occasion of his awarding, the RA NA President highly assessed his activities in the years of working in different state structures, emphasized the willingness of conveying to generations his experience as a former MP and supporting them. The Head of the parliament wished him longevity and good health.
Thanking Ara Babloyan for the award, Marzpetuni Margaryan has noted that at the same time he is proud and excited: “I have lived, making people live, I have tried to prove with my work devotion to the nation and to the ideas.”
The RA NA Vice President Mikayel Melkumyan noted: “Marzpetuni Margaryan is a respected person in Gyumri. We should respect our great people because the life makes them wise and more careful. In different countries they use the experience of the great people, cooperate with them for the welfare of the country.
The RA NA deputy Vardevan Grigoryan also congratulated Marzpetuni Margaryan, noting that the role of the RA Supreme Council and the former MPs is invaluable on the creation and establishment of the Third Republic.
The Chairman of the Parliamentary Generation NGO Mekhak Mkhitaryan thanked Ara Babloyan on behalf of the NGO members and underlined the importance of cooperation and the exchange of experience of the former and the current NA deputies. In the name of the NGO members he expressed readiness to take part in the events being held in the parliament.
