Artyom GHUKASYAN



He was born on October 21, 1972 in Leninakan.

In 1989 he entered the faculty of mechanics of Leninakan branch of Yerevan Polytechnic Institute. From the 3rd form he moved to the Leninakan Nalbandyan State Pedagogical Institute, the faculty of the physics and mathematician. His study was interrupted as he served in the Russian Army from 1994-1997.

From 2005-2006 he worked in Gyumri municipality, first as a deputy head of the division of the regional development, urban development, architectural, construction and real estate cadastre, from 2006-2007 - deputy head of the regional development, urban development, architectural, construction and real estate cadastre and environment protection of the residential communal economy and department.

On May 12, 2007 he was elected as a deputy of the National Assembly by the proportional system from the Republican Party of Armenia. He is a member of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport. He is a member of RPA faction, RPA member.

He is married and has one child.
