Narek Mkrtchyan

Born on June 20, 1989 in the village of Parakar in Armavir Province.

2010 - Graduated from the Faculty of History from Yerevan State University. Historian.

2012 - MS degree from the same Faculty.

2013 - MS degree of the American University of Armenia (political science and international relations).

2017 - Postgraduate of the Department of World History of YSU. Candidate of Historical Sciences.

2015 - 2016 - Assistant to a Lecturer at the American University of Armenia and a coordinator of the training course of Armenian history.

Since 2016 - Lecturer at the American University of Armenia.

Since 2018 - Lecturer at the Faculty of History of YSU.

2017 - 2018 - Ayb Educational Foundation, teacher.

Since 2018 - Coordinating the Small States Research Initiative of the Department of Political Science and International Relations of the American University of Armenia. Lectured at prestigious universities and research centers in the USA, Germany, France, Norway, Iceland, Estonia and Georgia.

December 9, 2018 - Elected Member of the National Assembly from the territorial electoral list of the electoral district #6 of the “My Step” alliance of parties.

Author of a collective monograph and 14 scientific articles published in authoritative Armenian and international periodicals.
