Born on April 16, 1955 in Ararat.

1977 - Graduated from the faculty of Law of Yerevan State University. Lawyer. Candidate for legal position (jurisprudence) in the department of legal sciences.

1970 - 1973 - Night watchman at the 6th constructive department of “Bardzrshintrest.”

1977-1990 - Laboratory assistant, then junior scientific worker, senior scientific worker of the Institute of Philosophy and Law of the Academy of Science of ASSR.

1990 -1997 - Head of the Department of Judicial Bodies of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, the first Deputy of the Minister.

1997 - 2006 - Military Prosecutor of the Republic of Armenia, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia.

2006 - 2008 - Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia.

May 6, 2012 - Elected Deputy of the National Assembly by the proportional electoral system from the “Armenian National Congress” faction.

May 6, 2012 - April 13, 2013 - Non Party.

April 13, 2013 - Member of the Administration of  the “Armenian National Congress” alliance of parties.

Married, with three children.
