Born on June 14, 1978 in the village of Parpi in Aragatsotn province.

1998 - 1999 - Served in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.

1994 - Graduated from Yerevan State Sports College of Olympic Reserve.

1998 - Graduated from the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture.

2013 - Masters Degree of the faculty of Management of the Armenian State University of Economics. Coach-pedagogue, Economist.

1992 - 1998 - Member of the wrestling team, multiple time Champion of the Republic, participant and prizewinner of numerous European and world championships. Master of Sports.

1999 - 2003 - Deputy Director, Coach of the Republican Wrestling Sports School.

2003 - 2007 - Chairman of the Aragatsotn Province Branch of the State Committee for Physical Culture, and Sports adjunct to the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

2007 - 2010 - Adviser to the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

2010 - Chairman of the Republican Council of Sports NGO “Sevan.” Secretary General of the Wrestling Federation.

Since 2009 - Member of the Executive Committee of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia.

May 6, 2012 - Elected Deputy of the National Assembly by the proportional electoral system from the “Prosperous Armenia” party.

Awarded “Trdat 3rd Arshakuni” (2011, ANOC) Golden Medal and Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Golden Medal (2012.)

Married, with three children.
