Born on May 15, 1960 in Nor Hatchn.

1981 - Graduated from the Khatchadur Abovyan Armenian State Pedagogical Institute. Historian. 1981-1986 - Laboratory assistant and later professor of sociological subjects in the Soviet Economy Technical College in Nor Geghi in Nairi region. 1985 - Served in the Soviet Army.

1986 - 1988 - Secretary of the LCYU Committee of Nor Geghi Soviet Economy Technical College. 1988 - 1983 - Deputy Director at “Universal - 3” Cooperative.

1993 - 2003 - Director of Nor Geghi “Aghavni” Ltd.

2003 - 2007 - Deputy of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, RLP.)

Until May 22, 2006 - Member of the “Rule of Law” party and “Rule of Law” faction.

May 25, 2006 - Member of the "Gortsarar" deputy group. Member of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly.

2007 - 2012 - Deputy of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, PRP.)

June 19, 2007 - May 31, 2012 - Member of the Standing Committee on European Integration of the National Assembly.

May 6, 2012 - Elected Deputy of the National Assembly by the proportional system from the "Prosperous Armenia" party.
