1994 - Graduated from the faculty of Economy Management of Trade and Public Food of Yerevan Institute of National Economy. Economist.

1977 - 1979 - Machinist at Masis pasteboard factory.

1979 -1982 - Foreman at a collective farm in Dashtavan village.

1982 - 1989 - Construction Materials Shop Director of district cooperative in “Haycoop.”

1989 -1993 - Head of Solid Fuel Base in Masis.

1996 - 1998 - Head of the Department of Military Trade of the Defense Ministry of the Republic of Armenia.

2000 - 2001 - Minister of Environment of the Republic of Armenia.

2004 - 2012 - LLC Director.

1999 - 2000 - Deputy of the National Assembly (electoral district #29.) Member of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly. Member of “Stability” faction.
