I congratulate you on International Students Day.

A knowledgeable person owns such a high-liquid commodity, which is valuable in any period and should be used both as wealth and weapon to take part in building up of a dignified country and future. However, knowledge cannot be useful and create tangible value without human moral character, combination of responsibility and patriotism. Hence, the university years are considered a period not only of obtaining knowledge, but also formation of certain relationships, civil responsibility and many moral values, which can have a crucial role for further life.

Today, the young students are also among the rows of our army, who ally show heroic manifestations as soldiers of the Motherland. The students are one of the most important players of our public and political life. This testifies to the fact that it is often the students that not only complete, but form the palette of our state, public and political life and dictate the agenda.

Dear students,

You study for several years, but the education continues during your whole life and never ends with a certificate or diploma. You will get acquainted with true realities of life in practice after getting education. During the educational years you are taught to reach those realities, and afterwards if you do not invest what you have learned in life through your profession and work, the knowledge will quickly be forgotten, and the university life will be considered a waste of time.

I am sure that you will realize with dignity your abilities of self-expression and become genuine co-authors of building a welfare and powerful Armenia.”
